The College has a free trial of the BBC Motion Gallery until 10th of June 2010. The BBC Motion Gallery contains video clips from the BBC archives covering all kinds of programming including news, nature documetaries and drama.
The trial can be accessed from any PC on campus at: https://jisc.bbcmotiongallery.com . Just click on ’sign i’n to access. There is not need any login details. We have some changes in Study Zone opening hours over the spring break (5th - 16th of April)
Study Zone Halbeath
Early closing at 5pm on Mon 5th of April
Opening at 9am instead of 8:30am from Mon 5th of April to Fri 16th of April
Study Zone Rosyth
Closed for the spring break
Re-0pening Mon 19th of April at 1pm

Our Online Library Catalogue (http://heritageonline.carnegiecollege.ac.uk) will be unavailable tomorrow morning (Friday 29th Jan 2010) from 9am until 10am. This is due to essential maintenance. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

There is a technical problem with the system that is used for logging into many of the Library e-resources. This means that you will be unable to log into any e-resource that requires an institutional login/federated access management. A number of our e-resources will be completely unavailable. Other e-resources will be unavailable off campus only with access working normally on campus. See list below of affected resources.
IT Services are working to resolve the problem and we will keep you informed of their progress.
