The problem reported earlier with accessing some e-resources has now been resolved. You should now be able to login to Library e-resources requiring a federation or institutional login. Thank you for your patience during the service disruption.

The problems reported earlier in the week with logging into Library e-resources have now been fixed. You should now be able to successfully log into all Library e-resources that require a federated access management/institutional login.

There is a technical problem with the system that is used for logging into many of the Library e-resources. This means that you will be unable to log into any e-resource that requires an institutional login/federated access management. A number of our e-resources will be completely unavailable. Other e-resources will be unavailable off campus only with access working normally on campus. See list below of affected resources.
IT Services are working to resolve the problem and we will keep you informed of their progress.

We have new opening hours for both the study Zone Halbeath and the Study Zone Rosyth. The new opening hours will start next week (week begining 11th of January).

Mon - Thurs: 8:30am to 8:00pm
Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm
Study Zone Rosyth starting 11th Jan
Mon & Tues 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Wed - Closed
Thurs & Fri 9:00am to 1:00pm

Are you avoiding the Study Zone because your books are overdue?
We have a fines amnesty running up until the start of the Christmas holidays. This means that if you return your overdue books to the Study Zones at Halbeath or Rosyth between now and Friday the 18th of December you will not be charged any fines.
